For the past years,that have passed Zimbabwe has never conducted a male pageant for Mr Zimbabwe.
However some Zimbabwean models such as Tapiwa Zimhamba,Adonis Ncube, who won Mr Best Body Beach during Mr Africa International and Mr Zimbabwe AMFFI respectively.
Would take part in an international event pageants.
Zimbabwe has been selecting their Mr Zimbabwe through the People’s choice award.
A category which has been held during the Zimbabwe Models Awards.
This act has been lambasted by fashion followers and models.
With some suggesting that a proper pageant should be done,three years after hearing the outcry of the people.
Zimbabwe Models Awards patron Mercy Mushaninga announced that this year,her team will host the first ever pageant for Mr Zimbabwe.
After making that announcement a number of male models began to send their candidates profiles.
The pageant which is divided into two, the King of the pageant who will be coronated as Mr Zimbabwe and the People’s Choice winner,which has just began and more than 2 000 votes having been casted within a few days since the announcement.
The event will be held in the capital of Zimbabwe on the 21st of December.
