The 2nd capital city of Zimbabwe,Bulawayo,to many they prefer to call it the Kingdom city or city of Kings and Queens.
Its also recognised as the capital of the arts hub.
The city is well represented at the first, ever Mr Pageant Zimbabwe which will be held in Harare this December.
With the candidates from the city of Bulawayo most of them having historical have made history,the modelling fans in the city believe the title belongs to the Kingdom .
The aspiring candidates include:Ben Chest the current Best Bulawayo Arts Awards Male Model of the Year;Liam Hall (commercial and photogenic model);Lancelot Ndlovu (Mister Sports Model and Mister Africa international Zimbabwe); Ishmael Muragandi (Mister I Am Africa);Jimmy Mhlanga (Zimbabwe Models Awards Award winning Model);Keith Machakaire (Zimbabwe’s commercial model the Beast).
Before the pageant started,the city of Bulawayo has already shown some dominance in the pageant competition.
This has been highlighted during,the People Choice Vote category.

Where by the public is allowed to vote via online for the people’s choice winner.
As more than 3 models have already been part of the top 10.
In the leading boarding being one of Bulawayo’s candidates.
Talking to model guide,Pardon Khanye former model and current model groomer, stated out that,Team Bulawayo has strong chances of winning the pageant,as their profile and previous deeds can highlight that.
“The Bulawayo candidates are strong and powerful because all the guys from Bulawayo have all done big in and out of the ramp,”he said.

The last time the city of Kings and Queens had someone to be ordained as a King from their city,it was in 2017.
When Shadel Noble was ordained the Mr Zimbabwe after he won the people’s choice award with majority votes.
Now the big questions are: among the Bulawayo candidates who will make it to the top 15,which will be the final round,will one of them win the People’s choice award and lastly will anyone who derives from Royalty be coronated as the King.
