It was his evening out fit,which was designed by Mzansi wear a local brand which stole the attention of the audiences during Mr Zimbabwe 2019-2020 which was held last month in Harare.
Nowonder why he was once recognised as the most handsome model,in 2017 during the Zimbabwe models Awards.
Ben Chest aka Bernard Ndlovu was appointed the brand ambassador of Mr Zimbabwe,during the Mr Zimbabwe pageant ceremony which was held last year December.
This was announced after the the coronation of the new Mr Zimbabwe,Devson Luzane.
Multi-Award winning model,Ben Chest said his appointment as the brand ambassador of the pageant,it reflects a new era in his modelling career.
Which he believes will assist him in taking his country’s modelling brand and career into,greater heights.
“Being appointed brand ambassador,to my career,the appointment marks a big role as it is the beginning of the international interaction and this is the time to go out there and represent the models of Zimbabwe with other models from other countries,its time to tap into the international level show cultural,diversity with other models,”said Ben Chest.
Ben said he looks forward to share the Zimbabwean culture story,whenever he steps into international platforms.
When questioned about,the modelling industry in his hometown .
He said his province its very rich in the modelling industry but lack of sponsorship has driven a number of models to give up on their career.
He however encouraged models,to use the resources that they have to reach their goals.
“There is a lot of talent in Bulawayo,lack of sponsorship is the only major challenge that is faced by many models in the city of Kings and Queens.
“Bulawayo models stop waiting for people to make things happen for you,make things happen for yourselves,” he encouraged.
