AND THE NEW KING IS ?
It all began as a vision and some might say it was a dream,step by step .
Just like a baby who is crawling is learning how to walk,those are words which can be used to describe the Mr Zimbabwe Pageantry.
Which was official launched on December 2019 by organisers of Zimbabwe Models Awards.
3 years back,three Kings have been coronated with out a pageantry taking place.Raising questions about the details of Mr Zimbabwe however,the organisers heard the out cry of the people and suggested that models should battle out on the ramp.
Joining former Mr Zimbabwe title holders:Rish Verma,Shadel Noble and Byron Mulinga is Mr Zimbabwe 2019-2020 winner Devson Takudzwa Luzane from Gweru.
The day of King Luzane’s coronation he and other models received words of inspiration from the former Mr Zimbabwe and the out going King.
Byron Mulinga congratulated all the candidates for a bold move that they took,which was to catwalk across the ramp and in front of the cameras.
The same goes with the first ever Mr Zimbabwe, Rish who told the candidates that it is their time to shine.
While Shadel Noble,encouraged the winner that they should get involved into charity work and work with their community.
Devson Luzane is a 23 year old model,who has previous won a title in the modelling industry as Mr Novice March 2019.
And has also took part in Mr Fitness and Bodybuilding Zimbabwe where he was positioned 5 and 6.
The ceremony of his coronations was held on the 28th of December 2019 at Dreams life Night Club . The 1st runners up was Ishmael Muragandi and the Brand Ambassador was Ben Chest Ndlovu while the People’s choice winner was Tatenda Njanike.
