Ratile Mabitsela is a 32 year old, wife, mom and businesswoman.

She grew up in Thembisa, and growing up in a disadvantaged community where substance abuse and teenage pregnancy are so common made her want to break the mold and build a career for herself, not forgetting to be a beam of hope to the rest of her community. Which is the reason why she has entered Mrs. SA.

She holds an honors degree in program management, is a University of Johannesburg alumni, former Miss Tembisa 2013, and now co-director of the Miss Tembisa Pageant. In addition to all that she is an entrepreneur that is passionate about wellness, fitness, and graceful ageing, through her business venture, Youth Fountain Infusions, which entail IV drips and aesthetics. An advocate for beauty pageants, with a desire to become a professional pageant coach.

She has been announced as a semi-finalist for Mrs. South Africa 2023, and she would like to have the opportunity of an interview about her journey, votes, and making the community aware of the pageant.

She was inspired by the women that have transformed through entering this pageant. “I’m on a constant growth cycle, and I appreciate taking on new challenges to take me to greater heights.
Mrs. South Africa has evolved from being just a “pageant” to being a female upliftment program with influencers to showcase the virtues of real, relatable South African women” she said.

Winning the pageant will give her a bigger platform to give back, to touch more lives, and to mainly inspire women to dream bigger. Coming from a township, she would love to see multitudes of women from townships raising the bar and putting townships on the map of greatness.

To other women out there she said “Before you are a mother, a wife, a sister, or anything else, you are yourself. You can’t pour from an empty cup; make sure you are well filled up before you fill up the cup of others. Mothers should not stop dreaming big and embarking on self-development journeys for the sake of others. At the end of the day, happy moms build happy homes.”
