A brief about yourself
I am originally from Durbanville in CPT and decided to relocate to Strand in September 2022. It has been one of my life dreams to live on a beach which I now am privileged to do. I am an entrepreneur and I run a small staffing business from home
I have 7 amazing children and I am a proud wife.
When I get free time I enjoy hitting some golf balls, reading and cooking.
What inspired you to compete in Mrs. South Africa?
It was something I always wanted to do but I always seem to find a reason not to enter. My husband encouraged me to give back to myself by investing in me too. So I took the leap. I also have a cause so close to my heart being a survivor of woman and child abuse I believe the Mrs. SA platform is a great platform to be a voice of hope and encouragement for women of abuse. Lastly I would like to show my children what courage is and that your past does not define you. You are never defeated only when you give up and this mom is not ever giving up.
What would winning the pageant mean to you
Firstly it will be a dream come true.
I think it is something that will encourage those around me who hears my story it will give them hope. Hope of a life full of possibilities no matter what obstacles we go through. Winning Mrs. SA will be amazing but ultimately changing a life or encouraging another woman to take a stand for her self to know her worth to speak up and set ourselves free will be the crown I want to wear.
Any message to other mothers out there
Yes I have 3 things I would like to leave with each mom
Nothing is impossible if you love yourself enough.
Change is sometimes ugly and uncomfortable but it is so worth it.
You always have a choice
You are free to add any other information
Just for any woman in a bad situation in your life whatever the situation is step out of it make that choice? Too often we more concerned about how we might look or what others might say but, at the end of the day you need to understand that people will always have something to say and that we are responsible for the lives we live we choose the lives we live. So choose wisely and choose you because you are loved, magnificent and beautiful. You are Queen
