Let’s meet a phenomenal, inspirational and self – driven and ambitious superwoman who is breaking the norms and the stereotypical mentality that has been established for many years ago. It has been passed from one generation to another. Nokubonga Lembethe is a 32 year old fresh woman, mother of one incredible son and fashion model who participated at the Durban Fashion Fair 2019.
” l strongly believe that l am naturally a model from birth because God assigned me to be in the modelling industry for a bigger reason. Honestly speaking, I did not force myself to be a model but the modelling career chose me. The calling was so loud. Modelling is a perfect platform whereby l can freely express myself and it brings out the hidden part of me that people cannot see.” she says.
I always tell people l am not in the modelling industry because l am the most gifted person, l am beautiful lady, l have enough money to sponsor my career, l want to get famous and win many titles but my main purpose is to make a positive impact and l have a story to tell to the world that can change someone’s life. It is time for plus size girls and women to stand up and shine without any fear or mind what other people say about them.

I am an advocate of self; self – love is what l am about. I am a dreamer and l dream big, the challenges l went through, all the pain and tears today have turned into something positive. I am an ambassador of my body, life and soul. Body positively is my life
What advice would you give to youngsters?
My advice is to choose a profession that is really easy for you to do and that allows you to be creative without a struggle. If it is easy for you to do, it really means that you were born to do that by God. You will not have to work extra hard to be successful and you will have enough spare time to enjoy life. Unlike, if you force yourself to do what you are created to do – you will have to work extra hours all the time just to be competitive.
