Walking and posing on the stage, lime lights and cameras get into action. It sound so simple when everything is in place, right? There is a lot of work behind the scene, spending hours and hours rehearsing to perfect your craftwork.

Sbusisiwe Mnyoni is a 25 year old girl who is a model under DreamChasers Academy. She is studying hospitality at Thekwini College. “It has been a roller coaster ride filled with learning curves. I have grown as an individual. There is a huge difference from the days l have started my career of modelling to where l am today. It has been all about discipline, dedication and hard work. I started to pursue my dreams with little resources which l had but look the end results. It is absolutely amazing.” she says.

Sbusisiwe is a reigning Miss Toddlers and Tiars 1st princess 2018, Miss Dreamchaser KZN 2021 Ambassador and Miss Dreamchaser Philanthropist, Miss Wildwest 1st princess2021, Miss Future Star Queen2022, Miss KZN Elegent 1st Princess 2022 and a Finalists for Mr and Miss ethekwini municipality role model.

What is your signature which differs from other people?

l really have a good sense of styles, l quickly adapt easily and have a positive attitude towards everything. I am precise over small things too. I also have good communication skills, the ability to always look good as a way to express non – verbal language and l carry my perfect smile everywhere l go around the world.

What is the biggest hurdle facing the youth today?

Depression. There is a lot of pressure to become successful overnight without going through sequential process.
