On the 7th of March its a big day for the fashion industry in Bulawayo.
As the second Dandy Gentlemen’s Flashmob which will be hosted in the second capital city of Zimbabwe.
However this will be the first of its kind to happen in the Royal City.
The event will be running under the theme,’Vintage and Elegant’.
In January the city of Harare hosted its first ever Dandy Gentlemen Flashmob,which was the first Flashmob to be hosted in Zimbabwe.
The event which is organised by Anesu Minister Whitelinen a fashion stylist and also a blogger.
Is set aside to raise a fashion consciousness and style sense among the men who are interested in changing the narrative of the fashion culture.
The event in Harare was graced by Tafadzwa Zimoyo The Boss (award winning Fashion Journalist),Thembelami (Award winning gospel artist),Natty The MC and the Brand Ambassador of Mister Zimbabwe Pageant,Ben Chest.
In an interview with model guide,Ben Chest who had attended the event,he stated out that Zimbabwe might be facing a downfall in terms of economy but that doesn’t permit one not to dress well.
He further added that the Harare Flashmob,was well organised and as ‘they’ (the attendants) were parading across the town in their vintage formal wear.
They caused attention to the people across the Capital city’s CBD.
Some of the public members,questioned them what the event was all about.
Ben said,he and other fellow fashionistas took that as an opportunity to educate the public about the importance of fashion.
Which he said he hopes to do the same on the 7th of March in the Royal city.
