“On my side it was all in the name of giving back to the community,it was also a proof that you really don’t have to worry for sponsorship to show love to those of less privilege in society,”said Devson .
Reigning Mister Zimbabwe Devson Luzane was accompanied by the 1st Prince Ishmael Muragandi along with Miss Albinism Ayanda Ncubr and Miss World Super Global Jemima at Entembeni Old People’s home.
Where they were celebrating Miss World Super Global’s 20th birthday,by reaching out to the senior citizens of the country.
Mr Zimbabwe said,he conducted these deeds as a way to reach out to his community,although it wasn’t in his diary to visit the home.
After receiving the invitation from Miss Super Global,he and other models thought of paying a good deed to the Entembeni Home.
“It was part of my vision to just walkout there and give (love,groceries, and become a volunteer in some of the work needed) the community,but I was just visiting Bulawayo for personal reasons. Then I was informed by Miss SuperGlobe that she was visiting old people’s home.
“Hence I joined in their (with other models)transit and we organised some things that we had to give to our elders,”he said.
When questioned what he has learnt from the visitation that he and other models had made.
He responded that giving does not only involve money but love from the heart.
“In the name of giving back to the community,it became a proof that you really don’t have to be worrying and looking for sponsorship to show love to those in society.
“A few essentials not one of the grannies and khulus (grandfathers),were award but they were so happy to get visitors who wished them a new year and exchange conversations,”he said.
Luzane also promised that he is going to reach to there homes and orphanages across the country.
