Meet Adaobi Harrison Umeadi, a 22-year-old copywriter, artist, and pranic healer from Lagos state, Nigeria. Adaobi is the last child in her family and has a deep love for sports, dogs, and plants. She hates injustice and enjoys being there for people as an empath who can feel their pain and help them get better mentally and emotionally. Adaobi finds joy in being around good people and is a nurturer.

Adaobi was inspired by Miss Africa Golden Nigeria’s efforts to keep the African heritage alive. She believes that the brand makes one soul search and takes you back to your roots, trying to save the African identity from extinction. Adaobi was intentional about being part of this African family.

Despite facing body shaming, Adaobi has come a long way. She ran away from the pageant world for five good years, feeling like she was not good enough. But, all glory be to God Almighty, five years later, she is accepting her entire self and stature, effortlessly thriving in her plus-sized beautiful thick body, proudly flaunting and strutting. Miss Africa Golden Nigeria accepts African women the way they are, with different heights, sizes, weights, and shapes. The brand recognizes and celebrates the beauty in African diversity.

Adaobi believes that nobody will shift for you at the table of success. You have to create your own table of success, and people will join you. Your background doesn’t mean your back should be on the ground; keep your head high, be confident in God Almighty and in yourself. Think out of the box and manifest something different. Don’t worry about what people might think; the world will adjust in your favor.

Despite being quiet and laid back around people, which some may perceive as shy, Adaobi prefers her own space. She mostly thrives in her element and energy in her own space. Adaobi is an empath and prefers Latin dances because, for her, they are more ladylike.

What keeps Adaobi going is the belief that the world is like a fairy tale, making her think about a lot of good things and helping her take her mind off the bad things in the world. Adaobi is not proud and encourages people not to be scared to approach her.

In conclusion, Adaobi is a strong and resilient woman who believes in the beauty of African diversity and the power of creating one’s table of success. She is an empath who enjoys being there for others and is proud of her plus-sized body. Adaobi’s story is an inspiration to many, reminding us that we should never give up on ourselves, but instead embrace our uniqueness and thrive.
