Naledi Legoabe is a 6-year-old girl from Pretoria, South Africa, who is taking the world by storm with her love for fashion, modeling, and philanthropy. Her story is both inspiring and heartwarming, reminding us that age is no barrier to success.
From the tender age of three, Naledi showed signs of her passion for fashion and modeling. Her parents did not hesitate to enroll her into a Vogue Catwalk South Africa (SA) modeling school at age five, and since then, she has been making waves in the industry. She has competed in several pageants and has already won five titles, including the prestigious Miss Global Princess SA.
During the Miss Global Princess SA pageant from 27th of April to 01 May, Naledi showcased her exceptional talent in various categories and emerged victorious in most of the titles which were being competed for, including Talent, Public Choice, Photogenic, Photoshoot, and even won the Leadership Award. Her dedication to her modeling practice paid off, and she was crowned Miss Global Princess Mini SA, an achievement that left her mother Lipalesa Komota overwhelmed with joy and fulfillment.
Naledi’s passion for modeling is fueled by the desire to empower, evolve, and inspire young girls like her and contribute proactively to the community. She is passionate about giving back, and her love for storybooks has driven her to donate books to SOS Children’s Village in Mamelodi and Butha-buthe orphanage. Naledi believes that every child deserves better education, and she is determined to make a positive impact in the world.
Apart from her modeling career, Naledi is also a champion gymnast and acrobat and an actor too. She is currently a champion of Gauteng North SA under Level 01, 6 years and under. She attends the Dutch School in Pretoria and studies everything in German. Her school dismisses her at 13:00, giving her enough time to attend to her other activities and assignments.
Naledi’s mother, Lipalesa, is inspired by her daughter’s dedication and love for all the activities she enjoys. She is proud of her daughter’s accomplishments, including being crowned Miss Global Princess Mini SA, and credits her success to hard work and commitment.
Naledi’s message to young girls out there is to love themselves better, embrace their beauty with all their imperfections, and teach them the importance of giving back to the community through kindness. Lipalesa’s message to other parents is to support their children in all activities they enjoy and love.
Naledi is still waiting for her contract and duties as Miss Global Princess Mini, which could include competing in one of the African countries and America.
