Can you tell us a little bit about yourself and how you started?
I am a first born in a family of 4. I have 2 siblings; a sister and a brother. We were raised by a single mom. I was born in a town called Sotik and raised in Bomet town. I started content creation in 2019. I majored in comedy and music. Since then I have been doing the same.
What inspired you to become a content creator?
I have always had a passion for acting. I also wanted to be my own boss and by creating content, I had the chance of earning my own money.
What would you do if you didn’t become a content creator?
I would be a journalist (I am actually studying journalism & mass communication at the moment). I would also be a musician.
What’s the best comment you’ve ever received:
A fan once commented that I had saved her life through a video I did (I was mentioning the challenges I had gone through before becoming famous) She saw that as a sign to move on.
Do you enjoy being famous:
I partly do. It has its ups and downs but considering this is what I love doing, we have to endure the negatives.
When did you first realize you were famous?
I guess my fame didn’t just come once? It was a process. I have grown slowly since 2019.
If you could be someone for one day who would it be and why:
Broda Shaggi. He is a big content creator in Nigeria. He is my idol in terms of content creation. I aspire to be like him one day.
Looking back what would you do differently?
I honestly wouldn’t change a thing. Everything that happened, happened for a reason.
What do you do about nasty or negative comments?
I just ignore them. Giving them attention will only hurt me.
Have you ever had any setbacks and if so, what were some of them:
I guess lack of shooting equipment has been one of the major setbacks I have had. They are very expensive.
What’s the dumpiest way you got yourself injured?
I once fell while swinging on a gate
What’s the best piece of advice you could give a newbie:
If you have a passion for something, go for it and don’t let anyone or anything stop you.
