Mathilde Honyiglo, Miss Supranational Togo 2023. Is a 28 year old model from Lomé – Togo. Beyond her title of beauty queen, she is a young woman entrepreneur, holder of a Master’s degree in Marketing and Communication. Passionate about fashion and cinema, one day she would like to her own garment brand and be an actress in a film. Bold and committed, entrepreneurship is her favorite subject. For her, Investing in human capital is very important.
Competing in Miss Supranational has been her dream since 2006 when Togo won for the first time an international pageant. From there she told herself that “I will do the same one day”. Now at 28, Mathilde is more determined to win the pageant. Not because someone once did it in 2006 but because she realized that she can use it to change her life, the life of people around her and necessary to change the way people are still seeing beauty queens in some Africa countries. “Today’s, beauty queens are strong and powerful women with a voice” she said
In view of her aspirations, winning the Miss Supranational pageant will be her greatest opportunity to change the vision of beauty queens in some African countries and show the face of what beauty queens are today. For that, she will congratulate Olivia Yace, Miss World Africa 2021 for winning the battle for us. But there is still work.
Winning will increase her influence to help people and it will definitely help her grow her corporate brand (smile) and inspire young people and women all over the world because dreams are made to come true
To other candidates she said, “I will say that we are incredible women, as queens, we have every reason in the world to be proud of ourselves and of our background. Through the Miss Supranational organization, God has made us supra queens and sisters. Let’s enjoy and use this connection to do amazing things to impact our countries and why not the world. Whatever the results, we will be the supra queens and sisters forever, the women of success and the women without limits. I love you before I met you. See you in Poland”.
