I started modeling when I was 16 years
Why did you choose modeling?
I love modeling because it puts me on the spotlight that I believe I am as an individual. Modeling has been the great platform to embrace that. My focus has not been on beauty only but also giving back to the community through charity work done
Besides modeling what else do you do?
I’m a 3rd year student doing my Diploma in Catering Management at Durban University of Technology
Any challenges you have faced in the modeling industry and did you overcome them.
Yes there has been quite a number of challenges but to mention few is casting for votes especially when we are voting using money. A lot of people tend to make excuses when it comes to money. It becomes really hard if you don’t have sponsors and you will be taking from your pocket. But raising funds through events and asking for donations helped me a lot
Any message to other models
We are all beautiful in our own ways. It’s important that you embrace yourself never allow negativity convince you into thinking that you are not good enough
What’s the best comment you have ever received
Well the best comment I have ever received was been told that I have beauty with brains. That’s true because I always look good so I can feel good. I am also a good decision maker.
Where do you see yourself in the next few years?
Since my field of study is in the Hospitality department, I see myself having my own business within the industry.
