At 8 years olds
What forced you into modeling?
There was no force in me starting modeling, nobody forced me into modeling.
Now that you have won the pageant what’s next
As the current titleholder for Miss Teen Tourism Universe SA, this means that I will represent South Africa at an international platform at the Miss Teen Tourism Universe International pageant later this year.
How did you feel winning the Miss Teen Tourism Universe South Africa 2022
I felt highly honoured and grateful because I was competing with very intelligent and strong young women who all had the same end goal as mine, and that was to win Miss Teen Tourism Universe SA. It is a true honour to have been selected as the Queen because I didn’t win the title only for myself, I won it for the little young boys and girls who look up to me and for me to show them that their dreams are valid and that they can do anything if they put their whole mind and heart into it.
Through your Instagram i saw that you were the Youngest South African Heroines Award Winner and Empowerment winner. What does this mean to you competing on an international stage?
It certainly means a lot, because not many of my peers are this fortunate to be where I am in life and competing against women who have made it in life at a much older age versus me who is 18 and still won the award truly speaks for itself that my efforts are seen and my progress has impacted many lives.
What are these awards all about?
Mostly the awards were for the youth that is impacting lives in their communities. These awards are mainly for community life changing awards and projects. There were different categories for different community outreaches that the nominees were busy with.
What can we expect to see from you in the next few years?
I have started at the bottom and achieved one of the highest Teenage titleholder’s there is, and I will end at the highest Universe stage.
Any message to other models
Never let anyone or anything tarnish your dreams, the power is in your hands to make something of your life. Your past and what you own should not define who you are, only what you become should define who you truly are.
