” Fashion is deeply rooted in the way l was raised in my home town, Zimbabwe. When l was growing up, l could see that the culture of sneakers was more influenced by public figures such as basketball players, artists, business tycoons or politicians. Same applies in South Africa, a large number of youths probably wears shoes based on what is currently trending in the market place. If you want to survive in this particular industry, be willing to provide what the customers are looking for,” he says.
