The Annual Bulawayo Arts Awards are set to be hosted in June in the city of Kings and Queens.
The names of the nominees were released last month, with award winning model,Bernard Ndlovu who is popularly known as Ben Chest as part of the nommines in this year’s awards.
He is nominated under Best Male Model along with Shadel Noble and Oliver Keith Siamloboka.
The multi award winning model,said he felt honoured and greatful to be part of the nominees.
“I feel greatful,honoured and humbled to be recognised as a nominee in my home ground and at a such prestigious award platform BAA (Bulawayo Arts Awards).
“The acknowledgement validates that hardwork and perseverance pays and its an encouragement a number of young upcoming models to continue pursing their passion and creative work not to tire when the road gets tough,”he said.
Ndlovu further stated that if he gets to be the winner on the 29th of June,it will be a great achievement in his life.
Also he added,that the award will act as an element that will attract exclusive organisations to work with him.
“If I win this award it will be a milestone achievement and great honour,its also going to be a major achievement in my career especially to what I have been trying to build with the help of my management team Culture Create

“Winning the award will also encourage other corporate international companies to start working with me and to take the creative work of modelling serious,” he said.
When questioned what his thoughts were about his fellow nominees in the category.
He responded by saying he respects them and what they have done in the industry.
“These are my fellow brothers we have worked together for so many years. I admire how each of them has been able to establish themselves in the modelling scene and I take inspiration of it.
“However I am confident the award will come home where it will belong #TeamBenchest,” said Ben .
Ben Chest has took part in the following fashion shows such as Mpumalanga Fashion 2018,Botswana 2019 Fashion Seminar,Clix Clothing show.
Has also been an ambassador of different commercial Edgars,Clix Clothing,B A C Leisure. In addition he was the Chief Judge during Miss Nust.
While during Zimbabwe Models Awards in 2017 he won the Most Handsome Model and in 2018 Best Promotional and Male Model award
