Challenge I’ve faced as semifinalist
I like referring to my Challenges as obstacles as they help me grow after I’ve overcome them. One of the biggest challenges I’ve faced in the pageant industry would be society beauty standards as society has expectations of what you should look like to be a model, your body size, tattoos , your height or specifications of what society portraits as beauty .I’ve learned to overcome these obstacles by having a positive mindset and positive self motivation to keep myself going from society negativity .I remember one day when I told a woman from my community that I was in a pageant ,her first reaction was “aren’t you too big for modeling”. This would be another thing I would change if I won the title as it would bring down the high beauty standards society has.
Support from family and friends
My community members, family and friends support has helped me go the extra mile especially all the children who look up to me as a role model to them because of my achievements and what I’ve done for my community. Their support has helped me overcome every obstacle I faced with even the smallest support emotionally or financially. Even the small things matters, the motivation I get too keep me going.

What my missteenglamsouthafrica journey has been like
My journey to top 50 as semi finalist was made easier by the support I received and the motivation. We all united as one to reach a certain goal .All the pageant contests played a role as they too supported and were there to assist when I needed help. The host and coach were also there to help whenever I asked questions regarding community building activities and showed me the way to how it’s done in missteenglamsouthafrica

What I’ve learned from joining missteenglamsouthafrica
I’ve learned that together we can reach a goal if we unite as one and carry the task .I’ve also learned to appreciate privileges that I have as others don’t have and differentiate between needs and wants. Missteenglamsouthafrica has also taught me that there are other people too who have the same vision as you and we should unite as one to reach our goal rather than see each other as competition.
