With all the delegates having been announced by the Miss Culture International organization and the contestants already being voted for online and pre-pageant activities already started there is one delegate who has impressed everyone with her talent and charming personality. Zimbabwe’s Tanaka E Dumbura has emerged as a strong favourite for Miss Culture International 2023 crown. Her talent video is one of the most watched video on this pageant “it makes me feel happy and positive. Honestly the love and support that am receiving from people is overwhelming and am grateful” she said when we asked how this made her feel.
Her journey so far has been one of the toughest ones, from receiving criticism from people who felt like she did not deserve the crown to having her family wanting her to stop after realizing all the bullying she was going through. But she persevered and here we are today. On the positive side being Miss Culture as well as the journey to the crown has made her appreciate diversity, it made her realize that Zimbabwe is blessed with many tribes and clans that co-exist and live in harmony and that alone has made her proud to be Zimbabwean.
Having graduated from MSU with an honors in History and International Studies, professionally been in the modeling industry since 2017 and have won two Awards and have earned 10 titles yincluding Miss Culture Zimbabwe.
In addition to all that Tanaka has done a lot of charity work and last year she launched the #15000 school shoes for Zimbabwe. She also a karateka and very passionate about the empowerment of women and children as well as the preservation of our culture.
With all of her qualities, her previous pageant experience and her amicable personality, Tanaka will surely be a strong contender for the crown.
