    The Constant Pursuit Of Excellence

    Article by Kudakwashe Muganu

Lucia Litshani is a 21-year-old young black confidence woman brought up in a small village of Ha Mashau Doli, Limpopo. She is doing Bachelor degree of Sport Coaching. “My upbringing was hard yet full of love and joy. We were raised by a wonderful grandmother and l learnt to be responsible at an early age, “she says. Thank God, she was signed by Coreclear Modelling agency whereby she is groomed and mentored. She used to create fake plastic high heels so that she can learn how to walk on such kind of shoes. Everything would occur at the backyard of the house. She would programme herself to view trees and crops as multitude of people cheering her and screaming while she is walking on the stage.

She was using wood stick as microphone and empty bottles will be awards. Many people thought l was crazy but my dreams comes into reality – l am now a model. “I boldly approached Khodani Mudau (the founder of Coreclear agent) and she agreed to work with me. This is how the journey started and the rest is history.”, she says.

    What Lucia lives by

My motto in life is that there is no magic in the world of success. I believe that greatness is pursued not only desired. It is a personal commitment you can make for yourself. I am kind of a person who does not like to take short cuts or leave the project half done because it will produce unpleasing outcomes at the end of the day.

  • THE POSITIVE IMPACT

    THE POSITIVE IMPACT

With an almost one decade modelling track re-cord, Miss Public Choice South Africa and multi – talented young girl. Anele Mnisi is a 20 year old girl who was born and bred in Nigel, Gauteng and she is studying at Rosebank College –  Diploma of Logistics And Supply Chain Management. Anele really loved to be a model at an early age and she never looked back. Today, we are celebrating her achievements and success.

In my career, l refuse to compromise myself and on my platforms because it may affect my brand in the long run. Usually, l take time to understand the project that l will be doing and it has to match with my values and my beliefs before l take any step forward. Critically, It is a duty for a model to protect the brand. Simply because what has been built in 10 years can be destroyed in split of seconds by making poor decisions. It is good to note that modelling is not only about walking on the run way, wearing designed clothes and poising on the stage. There are a lot of intertwined factors that can contribute to the output. Warren Buffett once said,” the best education you can get is investing in yourself and does not mean colleague or university.”

    Words to live by

Love and respect yourself. You are perfect with all your imperfections. You have your own unique dreams and they are given to you because you what it takes to achieve them. God will not give you seeds you cannot grow. FAITH. This is what you need always; it will make you push for your dreams to become reality.
