Having worked with so many models I must say punctuality is a hardest trait to find in a model, however working with the newly crowned Miss environment Zambia has proved that punctuality can still be found in some models
Natalie Cecilia Tembo is the Miss Environment Zambia. Growing up she would tell herself she was a model and she would walk like one. This pushed her to have the guts to compete for the national titles
“My auntie once saw me take part in one community modeling competition and it was everything to me because that’s all I wanted to do be a model. When I put my mind to doing something, I make sure I all effort needed to be successful.” She said
Natalie is a hardworking, passionate, consistent and disciplined person, she loves challenges and she has the will to succeed. She is motivated and she has the ability to learn fast. She started her modeling journey in 2019 where she took part in Miss Zuri Africa Zambia and she came out amongst the top 5 out of 15 girls that were competing and later that same year she walked for her first ever fashion show with Zam-Drop with the theme Zlook fashion show.
Still in 2019 she took part in Miss Cavendish University and came out in top five (5), she never gave up and because of my zeal to succeed
Her school union chose her to represent Cavendish University at the inter-university pageant Miss Queen of Lusaka by the Ace models of Zambia and came out 4th runner up and Miss Personality. She also walked for the Urban Fashion show under models for change and under Phresh models and walked for Phresh off the runway season 1.
In 2021 she took part in Miss Elites International Zambia and came out with the title of 1st runner up with two (2) other titles Best in Talent and Best in Swimsuit. Later in 2022 she walked for Phresh Off The Runway Season 2 and took part in Miss Zim/Zam and came out as 1st runner up (Zambian Queen).
She is the current Miss Environment international Zambia 2023 and representing Zambia at this year’s Miss Environment International competition in India being held from the 31st to the 11th of June.
Natalie believes her strengths as a model are in time management, punctuality, originality, flexibility, creativity and I am also an interpersonal communicator, being open minded.
As she flies the flag of her country Zambia high expect her to represent her country Zambia well and definitely, she will do her very best to bring the Crown Home.
In her closing remarks she said “I give thanks to God almighty for this opportunity, my family and friends and everyone that is supporting me through this journey as miss environment international Zambia and my country people. Thank you!”.
