My name is Mbalentle Parkie. Im 13 years old from Gqeberha in the Eastern Cape.
I am Preteen Miss Kwadwesi 2023
I started modelling at the age of 7 years old.
The other part that I enjoyed in this Pageant is community projects, because I love giving back to the community; and give support to the less privileged; and also it gives me a platform to be out of my comfort zone and experience what the real world is outside. And I believe that a hand that gives is blessed than the hand that receives.
I was nominated as a finalist in a prestigious event of South African’s Children’s and Youth Awards, and to take part in London fashion week, that will take place in August. As Preteen Miss Kwadwesi, I will get more involved in uplifting my community, encouraging other girls to be more confident and focused in life.
I balance modelling and school by making a schedule of all my events pertaining modelling and a timetable for my school work. I respect time, because time wasted never comes back.
Besides doing modelling I love acting and singing because it brings out my beautiful character.
To the other contestants, I would like to say, take charge of your life, dream big, don’t be afraid of challenges, be yourself, know yourself, respect and love yourself. Don’t underestimate your capabilities.
