How did you feel winning the pageant?
Winning the pageant felt like a dream come true. The pageant has always been at the core of my heart and winning it was just the cherry on top of the cake.
What made you compete in this pageant?
What drove me was the passion to influence young people through the pageant. I wanted them to find their inner-self through me. I wanted them to be confident in themselves regardless of their age, size or even race. Last but most definitely not least, I wanted to serve as a reminder of hope to the hopeless.
In your own view why do we have fewer male models compared to female models
It all lies within what we as gentlemen were taught at a young age. We were completely blindsided as gents when it came to pageants, driven by the stereotype that pageants were only for females and that it would be “girly” of you of us to be part of such. This is why today, females dominate the pageant.
Who was your strongest competition
In all honesty, all the the competitors gave me a run for my money. It’s difficult to say who was the strongest, but Sonwabise Dondolo, who was the first prince in our category proved to be the most competitive and confident competitor.
Where do you see yourself in the near future?
I see myself in the most elite competitions of the pageant, competing against the very best in the country. Not only for my personal gain, but to represent all the gentlemen from the the undeveloped townships with no hope of producing future leaders and game changers of this country.

1. I’ve got a vision of grooming young boys into becoming the gentlemen this country deserves.

3. I’m an activist of youth empowerment. I believe leadership should be cast in hands of the youth for the betterment of this country.
