As the world is preparing to attend the first ever,King Moshoeshoe Fashion Festival in Maseru,Lesotho.
Model guide interacted with one of the models who will be taking part in the ramp.
During our conversation with him,he tells us the connection between the two cultures of the two countries and also what he is plans are during the show.
TR:Can you briefly tell us who you are?
OB:Omogolo Bamba is a 22 year old, Motswana young man, pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Real Estate and is on his last semester.
TR:What word can you use to describe the Botswana’s runway industry?
OB:Burgeoning.
TR:You will be taking place at the King Moshoeshoe Fashion Festival. What does it mean to you?
OB: It means everything, from exposure, meeting new people, cultures, learning new skills and the fact that God will always bless your efforts and have your back.
TR:This won’t be your first runway fashion week. Can you state some of the runway fashion shows you have been part of ?
OB:The final runway show, Empire Fashion week 2018, Summer in Fashion show and 2.0 winter fashion show.
TR:Both Lesotho and Botswana are prominently known as countries that are rich when it comes to culture. Do you believe by going there you will learn more about culture?
OB:Most definitely. As culture somehow defines us as individuals to communities.
TR:Can you trace where your journey in the industry began?
OB:.It all started in year 2017 May when I joined my 1st ever modelling agency named The Empire Bw at the time and been active ever since.
TR:There are a number of models who are going , to take part in the show any from any country that you are looking forward to see?
OB:Donae Manuel from South Africa and Shadel Noble from Zimbabwe.
TR:What’s else will you be up to this year …?
OB:Taking part in The Masa Fashion Show, and Fashion without Borders fashion show and other growing myself as a brand.
