Zenande Njokwana is a 14-year-old girl from Queenstown, South Africa who is currently a finalist for the Miss Golden Heart South Africa 2024 pageant. Her modelling career began in 2020 when she joined the Just Models Academy in East London, and she has since gone on to win numerous titles, including Miss Lockdown East London, Miss Teen SA Finalist, and the Face of Miss Top Model South Africa 2023.

Zenande’s journey with the Miss Golden Heart South Africa pageant has been a particularly meaningful one for her. She was crowned as the Director’s Choice and Public Choice for the Pre-Teens category in 2021, and is now poised to compete in the grand finale on October 5, 2024 at the Hotel Osner in East London.

But Zenande’s passion extends far beyond the pageant stage. She has been actively involved in charitable work since 2014, long before her modelling career took off. She has initiated projects to collect and donate school shoes to children in need, and her ultimate dream is to establish her own foundation that can cater to the underprivileged in her community.

“Philanthropy has changed my life in several amazing ways,” Zenande shares. “Through my initiatives, I’ve learned that not everyone has an easy upbringing or an easy background, and that has made me wish that God could give me more power to help more kids in need.”

As she prepares for the Miss Golden Heart South Africa 2024 finale, Zenande remains focused on using her platform to make a positive impact. She continues to engage in various charity activities and is determined to expand her initiatives to reach even more people in need.
