What made you venture into modeling?
It was passion. I’ve always been passionate about modeling since primary and from there I started partaking in school pageants
Besides modeling what else do you do?
I hold a bachelor’s degree in tourism and hospitality management, I’m currently working at Trigger lodge as a receptionist. I opened my own modeling agency (Undeniably Divine models) recently where I coach kids from the ages of 6-13 years. I run a eyelash business as well (undeniably divine mink lashes). I’m part of a charity organization called Beauty Against Poverty where from time to time we visit homes and donate the little that we can
Which type of modeling do you mainly specialize in?
Pageantry and Commercial
Okay which one pays more and why
I would say commercial pays more because in most cases you get to charge any amount you want and it’s guaranteed at the end of any commercial you do for them you’re getting paid and as well as celebrity status comes with it and that can play a big role in raising a model’s fees unlike pageantry where one is not guaranteed he/she will get their prize money after the competition
What do you think should be done to safeguard pageantry models?
I think there should be more organizations which stand for us pageantry models and make sure we are not oppressed by the industry perpetrators also I think awareness should be raised to models on what are the green and red flags to watch out for before partaking in a pageantry because that way a lot of cries of theft, empty promises etc. will reduce as all models will be shunning the red flagged pageants
What advice would you give to the 15 year old you?
Stop caring about what other people think of you and never let your background define and delimit yourself for you can be whatever you want to be as long as you dream it, set your mind to it and work hard on it
Where do you see yourself in the next few years?
I see myself prospering in all the businesses I’m currently in and the ones I will venture in and most importantly I see myself winning on a big international stage and my face and name on big billboards across the world.
