When did you start your modeling journey?
I started my journey in 2018, at the age of 15 whereby I entered a local pageant called Miss teen exclusive Maltown. I was so happy when I got crowned as the first princess and after that I got the courage to continue on and on.
Currently which Pageant are you competing in
I am in Miss Remarkable South Africa. The journey has been a long one yet very motivating and encouraging. I am now one of the finalists for Miss Remarkable South Africa
What is Miss Remarkable about
Miss Remarkable is a national pageant ranging from juniors to seniors.
It has 3 pillars which focus much on Gender based violence, bullying and mental health.
It’s a pageant that is there to build the youth of today into being the future leaders.
Lastly it is all about teaching the contestants multiple life skills such as learning to be comfortable onstage, gaining poise, determining the best way to present oneself and to be fierce .
When will be the finals
It will be on the 12th of November 2022 at Mpumalanga ,Witbank civic theatre. The show starts from 9:15 am till late and the tickets cost only R200
Have you ever been bullied? What’s your take on bullies and bulling?
I have never been bullied in my life. However when it comes to bullies and bullying, it is a very critical concept. We may not all relate but it’s something we always come across. That’s through friends, close family members or just someone we know. I feel like it’s very wrong, more especially to the victims since this can raise traumas and may not be something easy to deal with after the incidents.
To the people who are bullies out there, it’s very wrong to do such.. Of course all bullies have reasons on why they started such behaviour but there are different ways to deal with situations. One of the ways is to open up to a phycologist or someone you feel comfortable with. There’s always a way to solve issues peacefully…
Where do you see yourself in the next 5years?
5 years might look far but it’s actually so close. I always wanted to be a high fashion model and I see myself become one even before then. I always plan to travel around the world.
Not to forget the biggest goals as a model thus being the next Miss universe. Lastly, as an IT student I also see myself as the next best software and web developer.
