Name: Grace Animah

Age: 23

Location: Ghana

Modeling agency: igroompageantshub

At what age did you start modeling?

At age 18

In a space of 5 years you have managed to win pageants like Miss Emerald, Miss Eloquent, Missnmtc and others … What’s your winning formula

I believe that to be a beauty queen is to become a leader that serves from the heart. Because a real beauty queen does not just wear a golden crown but must possess a golden heart. Also I believe that a true beauty queen will always believe in the quote that she will be the change she wants to see the world. Again, a beauty queen is kind, gracious, as well as generous. She utilizes her talents, skills, as well as her time as a way to help others and make the world around her a better place to be. She is also intelligent as well as disciplined, and works hard to set and achieve her goals This has been my winning formula and has taken me to places I never dreamt of going

On one of your Instagram posts you wrote…. “Pageant is one of the biggest gateway to involve our ladies in social and economic development …” can you explain on that

You see for sometime now, women are recognized as house-helps and cannot contribute positively to the social and economic development of the society and county at large. But I believe aside Education, pageantry has paved way in teaching the society the essence of womanhood, friendship, dedication, professionalism, sportsmanship, and many more. Beauty queens are also a role-model not only to young girls who aspire to be like them but to a lot of people who see them as an inspiration. Pageant has empowered women to take part in global issues. Pageants offer an opportunity to share viewpoints, uplift social causes and be a strong voice for change

Any message to other models out there

My advice to young models out there is to look beyond the glamour and seek to see a deeper purpose and reason to contest. I advise that they believe in themselves and be focus as well as determined. I think that we have to invest in much in our girls because we are the heart of development in every country Let’s invest in them because “our voice our future”
