Ladies and gentlemen, meet a newbie South African model who is sending a positive message to the world that success has nothing to do with age. She is a ground breaker who is living her dreams to the fullness.

Alwande Ayenzeke Masinga is a 10 year old girl who was born and raised in Eshowe, KwaZulu-Natal. Currently, she is doing grade 5 at Eshowe Junior School and her favourite sport is netball. She wants to be Miss South Africa in the next 10 years to come. This is what motivates Alwande each an everyday to relentlessly wake up from the bed to chase her own dreams with passion and zeal.

If she is going to be given an opportunity to haveĀ  1 billion rands in her bank account, she would like to help the less privileged people by building schools, homes and creating many jobs in the nation of South Africa. As a leader, she strongly believes that everyone is a community builder. Simply because every citizen has a role to build his or her own nation to be a better place to live. No one is coming to do it for you.

Who is your biggest champion?

My biological mother. She is one of my biggest supporters of my dreams. She knows how to pick me up when I am feeling down. My mother is a dutiful woman who taught me to be a responsible person at a younger age.

What are the benefits of being a model?

It is an essential platform for character building because it covers crucial skills in life such as leadership, self – awareness, confidence and entrepreneurial knowledge.

What would you like to be remembered for as a titleholder?

As a young girl who is a life changer by making a positive impact on this earth. As a caring, loving, amicable, tolerable and humble individual.

She is indeed shimmering and shinning. As a model guide magazine, we expect nothing less than the best from Alwande.
