It was all about Africa being in one roof together showcasing their talent within the continent.

As fashion designers who included:David Tlale,Eric Raising,House of Jahdara,Palse by Paledi Segapo and other 30 designers.Had their designs walking across the ramp during the African Fashion International Week 2019,Summer/Spring2020 season .

Which ran from the 10th to the 12th of October at the Sandton Convection Center,in South Africa.

The fashion show was spiced up by entertainment from award winning artists,Kwesta,Ricky Rick,Boss Zonke and the famous Ndlovu Choir from the Limpopo province.

The Chairperson of the AFI,Dr Precious Moloi-Motsepe said,”The Continent needs to unite in its diversity”.

Models from across the African continent took part in the event,as they catwalked in different colourful designs.

Zimbabwe was also represented,by award winning model,Florence Chikomwe who had an opportunity to catwalk at the event for a number of international brands these being:Kreyann,Taibo Bacr,K Morava and Collective,Taussy Daniel,LA Art Neviole,Matte Nolim.

Taibo Bacr is a a designer from Mozambique,whose brand is rated as one of the most exclusive brands in theAfrican continent’s fashion world.

He presented his high fashion and ready to wear collection,which was marked by flowing dresses and paints in white and red and black floral prints ,highcut body suits are part of his collection .

Another brand which was worn by Florence was from K.Moraba and Collective,which showcased a range of unisex designs that had stunning suits and flamboyant dresses.

Other brands were Matte Nolim whose collection was all about summer and LA Art Neviole’s designs were all about wedding gowns.
