If you asked her 10 years ago if she ever thought that one day she will be a perennial figure in the modelling industry. Absolutely, she would have blatantly refused. So, how did she manage to rise to the top and capture the hearts of many people? Khumoetsile Sello is an 18 – year – old girl who was born, bred and buttered in Rustenburg has defied social expectations by relentlessly pursuing her passion for pageants regardless of the challenges that she encountered in her life. Her ultimate success is a testament of unwavering determination, hard work and the ability to balance multiple roles in her life.
Her modelling desire started to spark in 2022 when she watched a modelling show on television. Our fireball had million reasons to be a model. She did not waste time by procrastinating on her goals , she participated at Miss Cosset Pageantry and she won 3 titles. This breakthrough in her career boosted her confidence to take another mountain. Currently, she is a finalist of Miss Supremacy South Africa 2025.
Why is mental healthy wellness is very important subject to tackle in our societies?
Depression is real. Many young girls or women are going through a lot in their lives but they will try to run away from the situation. They will put everything at the back of their heads and act as if everything is okay. Later on, it will affect their mental healthy. As a model, l urge young girls to confront the situation and resolve it or to seek help from professional counsellors.
What advice would you like to share with young girls who look up to you?
Be the girl who set goals. Be the girl who values the truth. Be the girl who possesses a kind heart, be kind to yourself and dream big dreams. Discover your purpose and live your life to the fullest.
