Being a model is one of the greatest gifts which only a few individuals possess. This is the major reason why we have got a small percentage of models in our towns. As a Model guide magazine, we are very excited this month to feature another talented and beautiful gem whose name is Lihlithemba who managed to catapult her dreams into reality.
Modelling is not just walking like a duck. A professional and seasonal model must have the ability to display skills, confidence and excellence on the stage. This is a very critical technique that is expected from professional models so that they can be able to market their brand name very well.
One may ask, ” how is it possible that other students are able to balance their school work and career at the same time?” Well the answer is simple as evidently exhibited by Zama Lihlithemba Hlongwane. She is a 16 – year – old girl who is doing grade 11 at Ziphembeleni Secondary School. The sky has no limit, everyone has the same capacity to excel into higher dimensions. The real question l can ask you is that, are you willing to pay the price for you to attain your goals?
If you could go back and tell yourself one thing before beginning your modelling career, what would it be?
Work hard and do not panic – everything will be alright.
What is your greatest lesson in your modelling career so far?
Modelling is all about people. You cannot be a model in your own world. You need people who can come to watch you on the stage, people who can support or sponsor your craftwork, people who can market your brand or speak on your behalf when you are not around. I have learnt to value men in my life regardless of their current status, age or qualifications.
Last words of Lihlithemba
If you can dream it, you achieve it.
