At just 8 years old, Buhlebemvelo Ngqungqumba is making waves in the modeling world. The young beauty recently captured the title of 2nd Princess at the prestigious Miss Mini Magxaki 2024 pageant, much to the delight of her proud mother, Siphokazi.

“It makes me feel very good and proud at the same time,” beams Siphokazi, a 42-year-old Mrs. “We aimed for 1st princess, but I guess she was just a little too nervous. But I’m so happy to see the improvement in each pageant she enters. The wins really boost her confidence to take on more competitions.”

What inspired Siphokazi to venture her daughter into the world of modeling at such a young age? “Buhlebemvelo is a very shy person, and I wanted her to be able to speak in public and stand up for herself against bullies at school,” she explains. “That’s when I came across the Kungawo Mpini Foundation, which has been tremendously helpful in nurturing and training her to become a certified model.”

And it seems the investment has paid off handsomely. With the recent 2nd Princess title under her belt, Siphokazi is confident that this is just the beginning for her daughter’s pageantry journey. “You’re definitely going to see more of her,” she assures. “We’re grabbing every opportunity that comes our way.”

As Buhlebemvelo continues to blossom on the stage, her mother’s pride is palpable. “The wins also boost her confidence to enter more competitions,” Siphokazi shares, beaming. “I’m so happy to see her grow and shine.”

With a supportive parent like Siphokazi in her corner, there’s no doubt that Buhlebemvelo is destined for greatness in the world of modeling. Keep an eye out for this rising star – the future is bright for this young 2nd Princess.
