Miss Teen Icora Fm more than just a pageant
A lot of pageants have emerged and they all focus on outside beauty of the contestants. Miss Teen Icora Fm pageant is here to change all that. We caught up the Qaphile Putsoane the founder of this pageant and she said “Our aim is to encourage our young ones to give. Assist those in need. We have dignity comfort bags which they have to fill up with essential cosmetics like tooth paste sanitary pads roll on etc. As we know that kids are often bullied by either their looks or anything. Sometimes one get bullied because of bad odor however they have no means to buy cosmetics. Often young girls miss school during their menstrual days due to lack of sanity pads. Also we want to promote good hygiene within our youth. It is not only about outside and physical beauty but also Beauty within”.
This pageant will have 10 teens competing for the crown. Miss teen IcoraFm will take place at Empangeni Country club 15 April 2023 at 12pm
When we asked what’s your message to the contestants the founder of this pageant said «Take care of yourself whole self and become a gift to others .Look after your body, guide your heart keep fit and give to the needy.
After the pageant the Queen or we can simply say the Teen Ambassador will have programs that she will engage on as ICORAFM Ambassador. Some of these projects she will be working with Miss Icora Fm.
After this the organisers will start with Miss IcoraFm 2023/24 however they also have the season finale for Miss Icora Fm 2022, whereby they will be looking at what she did during her term. This will all be just before Miss Icora 2023/24 journey starts
