Lieka Terblanche is a 13 year old girl, a grade 8 student who has a strong passion for horse riding and ballet. Recently, she was crowned as a Miss Teen Universe Mundial Free State.
What is your secret of your success?
Be original, be yourself, and be real. You never know who you are going to impress by just being you. Stop trying so hard to be someone else. The world wants
to see your own uniqueness and your creativity. And the world is ready to celebrate you for that.
Who are your biggest champions?
My grandmother ( Cecilia Vorster ) and my biological mother. They are dutiful women who taught me to
be responsible at an early age, to turn pursue my dreams or passion without fear, and always encourage me to study harder so that l can be an independent young lady when l grow up. I live a purposeful live today because of the strong foundation that they have been laid in my life by my grandmother and my biological mother.

Never look down upon yourself. Dream big, aim higher, and work hard. Remember that broken crayons can still make a beautiful colouring.
